Shawano County Arts Council
45th Annual Shawano Folk Music Festival
The Shawano County Arts Council is a supporter of music and music education.
Planning is underway for 2023!
Save the dates: August 11-13, 2023
2022 was the year we “came back singing!” After a two-year hiatus, the festival returned to the Mielke Arts Center and Park for our 44th year. Despite a very
rainy Saturday, we had a wonderful weekend with truly outstanding musicians
and loyal crafters who braved the weather. Headliners Anne Hills,
Art Stevenson & High Water, Wade Fernandez, the Crystal River Trio, Pat Wiley, Indigie Femme, Bounding Main, and Papa John Kolstad did not disappoint.
Thank you to everyone who attended, performed, donated and in any way supported the festival.
If you have never attended the Shawano Folk Music Festival, we highly encourage you to check out this outstanding music festival. Whether it’s just for a day enjoying the outdoor stages, taking in an evening concert inside the Mielke Arts Center or purchasing a weekend pass and taking in the entire weekend, we invite you to join in the joy of discovering the great musical talent of local, national and sometimes international performers in the beautiful wooded setting of Mielke Park in Shawano.
Please visit the Shawano Folk Music Festival Website for more information.
